Brighter Than The Sun ☼ - Arrival Day

Apparently, I was afraid I won't have time to blog/forget some details. Thus, I've typed out the entry in my itouchie while I was in the plane and on the bus to the final destination... Lol.

Didn't take a lot of pictures today because
1. didn't get to sit with friends in the plane,
2. bus ride to hostel was wayyy too bumpy to take scenary shots and
3. was too sian-ed in the coach to our hostel. =x

Woke up early for final preparations. And amazingly enough, I LEFT MY FAVOURITE HOODIE AT HOME!!! :@ Damn pissed with myself. I reminded myself about it and even held on to it before the very last minute I left home. x.x

Anyway, was 15minutes early to the meeting time. Looking around, I felt rather embarrassed that I had the largest and probably the heaviest luggage among the 28 of us! :S Lol.
Talked to friends, looked for teacher in-charge, breakfast, check-in and boarded! :D
Parents were with me all the way~~ Till the very last minute, and even after I've went into the check-in point... At that very moment, I felt extremely extremely teary... :S I am never good in saying goodbyes. -.-
Many texts from lovely friends too~ Felt the loveeeee! :D

Sat with strangers around me in the plane. :((((( The few hours of no talking suck! Wasn't able to sleep either. Zzz Afterwhich, it was a longggggg time before we finally left Shanghi's airport.
Then, coach-ed to Suzhou, our hostel! :D The ride was a freaking 2&1/2hrs long! Zzz Butt felt damn damn sore.

Shanghi's a nice place though. Looks extremely similar to Singapore, but much misty-er and colder. :/ Suzhou's like some hometown (to me).

Hostel's like a 3-star hotel, but definitely not the 3-star hotel of Singapore. And, the toilet... Moment of truth... DAMN OLD-LOOKING!!! Zzz It's really acceptable. But, :S creepy looking because it's not taken well care of. Or rather, no renovation to it even when it's gross... :(((( Gives me the chill when I'm inside.
Will definitely adapt to it though. HAVE TO. Pfft!

Overall, so far so good. :/ Though it's only been a few hours in the country, I think I can live in it for the 26 days. :/ Totally loving the really cold weather! :D

It's so cold, we can't be barefoot in the room. Lol. It's so cold, wearing shorts just kills you. Lol.

At the hostel, we were given our room keys and to meet our "buddies". Boy, the guys there have awesome strength! My "buddy" was able to carry my 23.8kg luggage up to the third floor in one shot! :O Seriously :O -loud applause- And dammit! I didn't prepare a gift for them. Zzz

I had a rough night. :/
People usually tear, weep or cry when they are either happy, upset or too pissed. The night before my flight, I felt all three...
Was excited that I was doing to another county (but not much emotion from this)...
Upset because I'll be out for A MONTH without my family or most close friends I love (Thank god there's Gary). And finally, pissed at myself for being unable to control my emotions... :/
I was pissed at myself for getting easily frustrated at my patient (weirdly, for once?? Lol.) mother... And sis and dad.. :(((( No idea why I was being a total jerk the day before my departure. . . Zzz
I was sincerely appreciative of my sis and mum packing my luggage for me while I enjoy TV. x= But I just couldn't control my frustrations at certain stuffs. :/
Really apologetic for being such a jerk at such a time. Zzz
But, no tearing, weeping or crying... =x lol. I was just really extremely upset and disappointed with myself. :/
