It's the end of our first week today. :/ Felt like it has been more than just 7 days~

I like it how I've experienced a whole lot of different things in this 360degree different environment/country in just this 7 days. I like it how things have changed over the short span of 7 days. I like how most of us are bonded with each other within the first 4 days. I like it how the weather's just so awesome! ^^

Though the experience would been 100% perfect with NPCONCC around, I still loveeeeeeeeeeeee how things are right now~ It's 99% perfect already! :D New friends are just really fun to be with. kekeke. And I'm always the one being teased in the group!!! WHY AH??? Lol. I hope we'll be bringing back more than just memories when 26 days are up... :0

Enough of my thoughts~
The past few days have been plain busy! Packed with activities filling up the entire day...
Exhausted by the time I reach our hostel. :)


THURSDAY
Yet another lab day~ :) Was semi-busy with last minute preparation for the night's performance. -.- Guess what? We were only informed about the performance the day before it. -.- And at a very late late time. x.x

Anyhow, lab day ended 2hours earlier so we could rehearse. About an hour later, we went back to wash up and prepare for the event... Did laundries!!! ^^ Totally didn't plan to nap but exhaustion took over me and I dozed off~ LOL!

Afterwhich, attended the school's singing competition... It was.... no comments uh~ Performances were average and it was kindda really boring? =x They are really prideful about their country... :/
The whole event ended off with us singing "Home" and them giving out the prizes and some speech.

FRIDAY
The first tour in Suzhou to Zhou Zhuang, or "Water Village". It was a fun experience. (: I guess the companion made up to the tour. It was kindda too educational that it bores me. =x

/tour end~~

It was a long tour with really interesting things to see~ Ancient but really nice.. Then again, the place was flooded with people. x.x Hate crowds. And, it became boring at one point. :/ Great thing, we all had a good laugh because of our friends. ^^

Was telling Gary how I finally understand how some people would rather not go for tours. Lol. I was honestly not really paying attention to the tour guide throughout the trip. =x But the place is kindda amazing... Photos taken, however, are 2 times better than the real thing. :/ Lol. I don't know why but the place looks pretty but pictures turned out so much prettier. :/ Lol.

Oh ya, the weather was amazing too! We finally saw the sun. LOL. Even though it's sunny, the weather was still cooling! Woohoo~~~ :D How I wish Singapore has such weather 24/7 and in all seasons. :/ Bought some snacks for home, and gifts!!! :D I think the name stamps are really amazing... But I only bought one. :/ I was initially only charged 15RMB for the whole thing, when it's the cost of the box... Left the place but headed back again because I didn't feel good leeching them off. LOL!

After the tour, hostel-ed before heading out again to purchase train tickets to Shanghi the next day.

The train station was packed with people. Quickly queued and waited for some other to arrive. When it was finally our turn, we were told that we couldn't purchase 30 tickets at one shot but only 5 at a time. Zzz Like wth?! The lady didn't allow us to take turns and purchase the pathetic 5 tickets either. =.= We queued really long and all she could give us was such a stupid experience. =.=|||
Friends were really heated though...



"Guan Qian Jie" was up next. Yes, we've been there two days before. LOL! We wanted to experience shopping there without the disgusting wet weather but, we end up only enjoying A REALLY DELICIOUS DINNER instead. Lol. Cabbed down to the place and waited for the other... 9 friends. :)

Went to a highly recommended restaurant located in the shopping district. The place looks like some really high class hotel. Headed in to a private room and OMG! the service deserves 5-stars! And the food? 4.5 stars!!!! Really delicious! 15 of us ate a 19 course meal at 278RMB cost! Cheap or what?! Okay, maybe it's not really that cheap. But for the really tasty food and superb service, it's totally worth it. ^^

Wanted to take a few shots outside the resturant but was abruptly disturbed by a mother. She poked two roses between a friend's bag and his chest, pleading for him to purchase it. It was initially kindda funny until it got serious? After he purchased the first rose, more and more women and children came, sighted with the exact same roses, approaching most of the guys and bugging them to get roses.

Poor thing... :/

Took quite some time to get them off our back... It was most painful trying to ask a little girl to let go when she held so tightly on a friend's bag... It was really saddening to have to try pulling her away... But we just can't spare so much cash to help them when they obviously are together in it to scam us???
(Probably not everyone of them are that bad to scam us... But because of those who does, it's better not to trust these people. :S)

Lesson learnt from this experience?
Never ever be kind to people like these. The situation might be out of our control... There are other ways to help the unfortunate... That is just not the way to do so... They'll look as if they don't know each other and plead you to purchase from/donate to them... However, after you walk away and turn back, they'll probably be talking to each other. ?! Damn wth. Seriously. It was kindda scary seeing a whole bunch of women and children walking towards you and shovering roses up at your faces. -.-
